Our Story

From the vibrant streets of Africa to the heart of Canada — sharing authentic, smoky Suya and the continent’s most cherished culinary traditions.

The Fire That Started It All

Feast of Africa was founded on a simple yet powerful vision: to share the bold, smoky, and unforgettable flavours of home with our community in Canada.

In 2022 we launched the first Suya Fest at Water Bend Park. The response was immediate and overwhelming — guests queued for hours to experience our signature grilled goat meat and whole-chicken specials. That day confirmed the deep appetite for authentic African cuisine in Bridgewater.

Today, Feast of Africa is more than a restaurant. It is a cultural bridge. Every plate of Suya, every pot of Jollof, and every glass of Zobo carries forward the heritage, passion, and hospitality of our ancestors.
